  1. For any good he is credited of doing the reality is he maintained absolute power over those
“Of the turturable class”. Hoover had his elite squad of agents to do anything he desired as they were secret and above the law. Conversely those that owned Hoover, that had the evidence were left alone. They were the true “untouchables”. Hoover’s greatest secrets were the fact he was not of a pure white race and he was a homosexual who attended ultra secretive parties cross dressing known as “Mary”. One infamous photograph held by those in real power was the image of “Mary” on her knees
inflagrante performing felatio on her friend. All it would take in a private interview by Hoover would be to say “Mr. Hoover, I saw the photograph”. Just those words Hoover would say nothing fold up his papers and leave. That instantly stopped any investigation of that individual.

  2. Hoover had a compound in LaJolla San Diego where he and his partner would come during the summer and spend time at the DelMar race track with movie stars and others of influence it was said the track was owned by a family with mob ties.

  3. Yes and the peaked in 1963. They say J. Edgar Hoover used to wear women’s dresses. Is that true?

  4. There was, I believe, a PBS Frontline that covered his biography. Supposedly, he did cross dress, and met with like-minded men at a hotel in Washington. The mob knew about this, and used the room above to install a camera. He always insisted there was no such thing as organized crime. He hated Bobby Kennedy because of Kennedy’s war on the Mafia, fearing it would out him.

  5. President Trump just offered some bizarre new ramblings about the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. But he undermined himself: He claimed to know about elite Democrats and liberals who had visited Epstein. But that just raises the question that won’t go away: If this is what the Epstein files would reveal, then why isn’t Trump ordering their release? Every time Trump says such things, he wrecks his own Big Lie: that the Epstein scandal is a Democratic hoax that actually implicates Democrats even as he won’t release the files

  6. I remember how people hated him he was with the mafia most of the time he hurt a lot of people. He was far the richest people. He used his office for revenge kind of Like Donald Trump is doing now

  7. The only major government official who objected to the Japanese Americans being sent to internment camps in WWII

  8. Hoover was a dangerous man. An avid homosexual hater (yet he secretly was one). A racist — he did everything he could to ruin MLK, Jr., spreading viscous lies about his character. He was incredibly vindictive and revengeful — remind you of anyone ??

  9. He looks positively restrained in comparison to this present crazy clown administration.

  10. Kash Patel is making Hoover look pretty damn good right now. Just as Trumpstein is making Nixon look better and better with every passing day.

  11. No government agency should abuse the civil rights of any citizen or visitor of/or to our nation.

  12. Janet Hromyak Stockalis It is a little more that urging. It is a demand that his new hires swear allegiance to him, and the old hands must do the same thing(almost), or they will get fired. Yes, government employees do have differing views about politics, but before tRump, they held any political discussions in check in the office. This made for a much more congenial workplace. I have about 23 years of government service, so I’ve been there. I retired from the government a little over 15 years ago.

  13. It’s tending that way again when the government intervenes in witness tampering with Maxwell ? Get serious . Remember learning about this and the holocaust in extreme detail . We are old enough to remember them both !

  14. Nothing “great” about this guy. He corruptly ran the FBI for approximately 50 years using it to spy on, intimidate, harass, and persecute people who he disagreed with politically

  15. The “Federal Bureau of Intimidation” as some, with very good reason, called it.

  16. Hoover was a scumbag. He spied illegally on anyone and everyone he thought he may be able to blackmail for his own advantage. Hoover was a homosexual who sought to shame other homosexuals with his illegal spying. For decades he refused to admit that organized crime existed because he wanted more immediate press coverage by catching bank robbers.

  17. Read Robert Unger’s, “The Union Station Massacre; The Original Sin of J. Edgar Hoover’s FBI.”
